Privacy Policy

01 — Summary

Focus Clock is a clock, timer, stopwatch and focus app that works entirely on your device. It requires no account and no sign-in. It contains no analytics, no advertising, no tracking technologies and no third-party data-collecting SDKs. It functions fully offline and makes no network requests as part of normal use.

Because no data ever leaves your device, there is nothing for us to collect, store, sell or share — and this policy is correspondingly short.

This policy applies to the Focus Clock mobile application distributed through the Apple App Store and Google Play. Our website is covered by a separate website privacy policy.

03 — Data we collect: none

Focus Clock does not collect any personal data or usage data. Specifically, the app does not:

— require or offer account creation, sign-in, or any registration;
— collect your name, email address, phone number or any contact details;
— collect your location;
— access your contacts, photos, camera, microphone, files or health data;
— include analytics, crash-reporting or telemetry services;
— show advertising or include any advertising SDK;
— use cookies or similar tracking technologies;
— fingerprint or otherwise identify your device.

The app stores that distribute Focus Clock (Apple and Google) may collect data such as download statistics and crash reports under their own privacy policies. That collection is controlled by Apple and Google, not by us, and we receive at most aggregated, non-identifying statistics from them.

04 — Data stored on your device

To function, Focus Clock saves your preferences and activity locally on your device only. This includes your chosen theme, clock face and display settings; the state of running timers, stopwatches and countdowns; your focus-session history and statistics; and your world-clock city list.

This data is stored in the app's private storage area on your device. It is never transmitted to us or to anyone else, and it is not accessible to other apps. We operate no servers and hold no copy of it. On Android the app opts out of system backups; on iOS your device's own backup (for example an encrypted iCloud or computer backup) may include the app's data — that backup is controlled entirely by you and Apple, not by us.

05 — Device permissions

Focus Clock requests no sensitive device permissions — no location, camera, microphone, contacts, storage or notification access is required for version 1.0. On Android, the standard INTERNET permission is declared by the underlying app framework, but the app makes no network requests during normal use and works fully offline.

If a future version adds a feature that needs a permission (for example, notifications for timer alerts), the app will ask you at the moment the feature is used, and this policy will be updated to explain what the permission is for.

06 — Third-party services

Focus Clock does not integrate any third-party services that collect data. There are no analytics providers, advertising networks, social-media SDKs or cloud services in the app. All fonts and assets are bundled inside the app itself.

07 — Children's privacy

Focus Clock does not collect personal data from anyone, including children. The app contains no ads, no external links to social media, no in-app purchases in version 1.0, and no chat or user-generated content. It is safe to use at any age, and we have no data about any user, child or adult.

08 — Deleting your data

Because all data lives on your device, you are in full control of it:

— Reset your focus statistics at any time inside the app via Settings → Reset statistics;
— Delete everything by uninstalling the app, or by clearing the app's data in your device settings (Android: Settings → Apps → Focus Clock → Clear data; iOS: delete and reinstall the app).

There is no copy of your data anywhere else, so nothing further needs to be requested or erased on our side.

09 — Your rights

Privacy laws such as the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) give you rights over personal data that companies hold about you — including access, correction, deletion and portability. Since Focus Clock sends us no data, we hold no personal data about you on which to exercise these rights: there is nothing to access, export or delete on our servers.

10 — Changes to this policy

If a future version of Focus Clock changes how data is handled — for example, by adding optional accounts, sync or notifications — we will update this policy before the change ships, update the effective date above, and describe the new processing clearly. The version published at this address always applies to the current version of the app.
